Pull the lever (19c) and release it, guaranteeing the initial position;
Loosen the adjusting screw (1a) until the action against the wall of the fifth wheel

plate is perceived;
To guarantee basic play of 0.2-0.4 mm. tighten the adjusting screw further (1a)

by 1.5 - 2 revs.;
9)
Tighten the counter-nut (1b), taking care to prevent rotation of the screw (1a);
Coupling torque 100-120 Nm
The adjustment is complete and ready for a final check:
Start-up with the semi-trailer brake engaged in order to detect
any play; if this is noted greatly, it means that the fifth wheel can no

longer be adjusted.
