After the first 500 Km following installation:
Check that the coupling torque of the fifth wheel support fixing bolts (15) to the
tractor support structure is within the limits indicated on page 10/35 chap. 2.1
ASSEMBLY WITH PLATE.
At intervals of 5000 Km.:
1)
Check that the coupling torque of the fifth wheel support fixing bolts (15-24-30) to
the tractor support structure is within the limits indicated on page 10/35 chap. 2.1
ASSEMBLY WITH PLATE.
2)
Check that the coupling torque of the plate-supports clamping screws (page
27/34) is within 270 and 300 Nm.
3)
Open the fifth wheel and check correct functionality according to that described
in chap. 3.1 COUPLING page 12/35;
4)
Grease the fifth wheel plate, the closure mechanism (7, 11b, 2c) and the semi-
trailer articulation kingpin (see page 12/35).
