7. Inserting / replacing batteries

1. Open the battery compartment on the back.
2. Correctly insert two AA batteries, heeding the polarity markings
inside the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment again.
Replace the batteries, if the error code Err05 appears
in the display or once all bars of the battery status
display (6) have turned off.

8. Turning the device on/off

1. Press the MEAS button (D) or the I button (F) to turn on the device.
The display shows the stand-by screen. The target laser (B) is
already activated. The laser indicator (1) is flashing in the display.
2. If necessary, push the I button to deactivate the targeting laser.
3. Press and hold the I button for approx. 2 seconds to turn off the
product.
The laser will be deactivated after 30 seconds of
inactivity.
The product will turn off automatically after 3 minutes of
inactivity.
