9. Disconnect the breather hose 2 from
silencer case, and then insert the hose into
the silencer case as shown.

Lift up the lock tab, and then disconnect the
PT motor cable 4.
Keep away the PT motor cable 4 from the
flywheel as shown.

NOTE:
Make sure that the breather hose and other
cables do not touch to the flywheel and the tim-
ing belt.
11. Tie a knot in one end of the emergency
starter rope located in the tool kit. Tie the
other end around the screw-driver handle in
the tool kit.
12. Hook the knotted end of the rope in the pul-
ley notch and wind the rope around the pul-
ley in a clockwise direction.
13. Put the emergency stop switch lock plate in
place.
14. Remote control model:
Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.
15. After following steps for normal starting pro-
cedure, pull the emergency starter rope
sharply to start the engine.
WARNING
If you attempt to reinstall the recoil
starter assembly or motor cover after
starting the engine you can be injured.
