• Restrict lateral movements and keep the
machine parallel to the tractor by using
the stabilising chain or the turnbuckles
(G) (Fig. 30).
• Connect the hydraulic hoses to the
tractor distributor (Fig. 31).
5.3 CONNECTING THE
DRIVE SHAFT
Connect the central universal joint to the
power takeoff of the machine by inserting
the two buttons C (Fig. 32) into the sui-
table slots. Check that the min. and max.
length of the joint were compatible with the
required working lengths. Connect to the
tractor the opposite end of the universal joint
by verifying that the button was inserted
into the suitable slot.
The guard is an important safe-
ty device and the machine must
NEVER be used without it.
5.4 UNIVERSAL SIDE JOINT
CONNECTION
The side universal joints shall
be placed into the suitable
slots so that the spiders at both the
sides of the change gear were always
in phase with one another, as indicated
in the figure.(Fig. 33)
VERY IMPORTANT: when instal-
ling the automatic drive shafts
make sure to position them
correctly (right hand one to the right
and left hand one to the left).
Read and follow the indications contained
in the instruction manual relating to the
universal joint.

• Limitar los desplazamientos laterales y
mantener la máquina paralela al tractor
actuando en las cadenas estabilizado-
ras o en los tensores (G) (Fig. 30).
• Conectar los tubos oleodinámicos al
distribuidor del tractor (Fig. 31).
5.3 CONEXIÓN DEL ÁRBOL
CARDÁNICO
Enganchar la junta cardánica central a la
P.d.F de la máquina insertando los dos
pulsantes C (Fig. 32) en las apropiadas
rendijas. Verificar que el largo máximo y
mínimo de la junta sean compatibles con
el largo de trabajo requerido. Enganchar la
extremidad opuesta de la junta cardánica
al tractor verificando que el pulsante esté
inserido en la apropiada rendija.
Las protecciones son un compo-
nente de seguridad. No usar jamás
la máquina sin este componente.
5.4 JUNTAS CARDANICAS
LATERALES
NOTA: Los cardanes laterales
deben estar posicionados en
las apropiadas rendijas de modo que
los cruceros a los dos lados del cambio
estén siempre en fase entre sí como
indica la figura.(Fig. 33)
La atención por otra parte para
no invertir el montaje de repri-
m e n d a s e n d e r e z a c o n l a
izquierda.
Leer atentamente y atenerse a las normas
contenidas en el manual de instrucciones
relativo a la junta cardánica.
