CAUTION !
Make sure that the measured value display is stable.
Attach the mucosal electrode so that it has a good electric contact with
the patient's oral mucosa.
Make sure that the file clamp has a good electric contact with the file
(clean clamp with alcohol beforehand if necessary).
Display function test:
Moisten a spot on your skin (e.g. on your hand) with water.
Then place the file clamp and the mucosal electrode on your skin a short dis-
tance away from each other. Change the distance and watch the display.
A stable display reading means that the unit is functioning properly.
Type: Selects a file from the set system.
Type
Torque: Increases or decreases the torque.
No adaptation of the torque is possible for a 1:1 contra-angle handpiece.

To activate an acoustic signal which sounds when 75 % of the set torque is
reached, press the Torque ↓ key with the motor running until a short acoustic
signal sounds.

NOTE
The reading on the display flashes whenever the torque does not correspond
to the manufacturer's settings. You can save this new setting by pressing the
Save key. The value stops flashing once it has been saved.
Rpm: Increases or decreases the torque.
With a gear ratio of 1:1, the available speed ranges from 1,600 to 12,800 rpm.
