NOTE
The reading on the display flashes whenever the rpm value does not corre-
spond to the manufacturer's settings. You can save this new setting by press-
ing the Save key. The value stops flashing once it has been saved.

The manufacturer's rpm and torque settings should be regarded as
"recommended values".
A/Rev: AutoReverse function.
A - If the Auto Reverse mode is switched on ("A/Rev" key = yellow LED on)

and the set torque is then reached, the motor automatically starts running
in the opposite direction.
In order to change back to the forward direction, lift your foot off of the
pedal, thus stopping the motor. If you then press the pedal again,
the motor once again starts running in the forward direction.
If the AutoReverse mode is switched off ("A/Rev" key = yellow LED off)
and the set torque is reached, the motor automatically switches off.
B - To delete a file from the personal file assortment, press and hold the
A/Rev key until the following reading appears on the display:

To confirm, press the "Mem" key.

Reduct.: SIROEndo can be used with various contra-angle handpieces with
reduced ratios or with a 1:1 contra-angle handpiece.

Use the "Reduct." key to select contra-angle handpieces, e.g. 1:1, 6:1, 16:1,
18:1, 20:1, 24:1. SIROEndo automatically selects the correct torque and
speed to match the selected contra-angle handpiece.
Reverse: Manually changes the micromotor's direction of rotation to counter-
clockwise. This is indicated with the motor running by the lit LED on the key
Reverse
and by an acoustic signal. The signal tone can be switched off while the motor
is running by pressing the "Reduct." key > 1 second.
Always activate the apex locator after switching the unit on or changing the
apex locator cable.
To do this, you must contact the file clamp and the contra-angle handpiece or
the mucosal electrode once.
After approx. 2 seconds, the following reading appears on the display:
and a short acoustic signal sounds.
