Preconditions
The following conditions must be met for rinsing the distillate tube:

Heating bath heater of the rotary evaporator is switched on

Recirculation chiller is switched on
–
Vacuum pump is switched on
Procedure

Depending on the selection, the various lines of the system are flushed.

To fill the evaporation flask, see also section „Commissioning" on page 100.
Select a vacuum value adequate for the solvent and set the hyste-
resis to 50 mbar.
A large pressure range is passed through by the large hysteresis.
All glass parts are first wetted, after which drops are formed, which
then run off.
As a result, the glass parts in the distillate area are cleaned within a
short time.
