Operation
Preconditions
The following conditions must be met for operation in sensor mode:
–
Heating bath heater of the rotary evaporator is switched on
–
Recirculation chiller is switched on
–
Vacuum pump is switched on
–
Rotary evaporator is under filling vacuum
–
Level sensor S4 calibrated
–
Educt sensor vessel is filled
Filling the evaporation flask
After the initial filling of the evaporation flask, the filled educt is brought to process
temperature.
For the initial filling, it is essential to observe the instructions in section
„Initial filling of the evaporation flask" on page 104.
Start process

Touch the
message appears on the display:

The filled educt is saved within a preset time (factory setting: 300 s) to the heating bath
temperature.

Observe the progress bar in the message box.

Press
to skip the heating process.
Note that skipping the heating process will automatically start the
evaporation process. This activates the refill, the emergency stop and the
educt sensor!

After the pre-heating time has elapsed or after the step has been skipped, the filling
pressure is automatically regulated to the set process pressure. The following message
appears on the display:
