Operation
End of process in sensor mode
In sensor mode, the process sequence is stopped under one of the following conditions:

Educt container runs empty

After the
filled → Status change of the feed sensor S1 (

Unplanned end is initiated: Additional evaporation time is started (setting via process
parameters, see section „Parameter sensor mode" on page 124).

After the additional evaporation time has elapsed, the system switches to a safe
operating state: Peripheral shutdown (recirculation chiller and vacuum pump off,
evaporator in standby).

Maximum filling rate reached

Using the process parameter

a maximum filling rate can be set in order to achieve a defined concentration of
the residue (setting via process parameters, see section „Parameter sensor mode" on
page 124).

In this case, the sensor control is stopped and the residue is drained automatically
or manually. The draining process depends on the glassware (with/without drainage
of residue) and the
form (setting via process parameters, see section „Parameter sensor mode" on page
124).

Maximum filling level in distillate/residue container → Level sensor S8 (distillate
container) or S9 (residue container) indicate by a status change from
the maximum level has been reached (option).
Both of the level sensors S8 (distillate container) and S9 (residue
container) are available as optional accessories and are not included in
the standard scope of delivery!
The level sensors prevent overflow of the monitored vessel. When a level
sensor is triggered, the system is switched to a safe operating state.
