BEFORE LIFTING THE TOOLHOLDER ARM BE
SURE THAT NOBODY IS STANDING IN THE
OPERATION AREA.
6.
To lift the toolholder arm, depress the pedal (1,Fig.4-3)
and hold handle (2,Fig.4-3).
The arm is balanced by a spring-loaded mechanism
and the eff ort required is minimum. When locking the
arm into working position be sure to use enough force
to ensure a proper lock.
The heavy metal construction can easily absorb the
force.
IF THE TOOLHOLDER ARM IS NOT CORRECTLY
LOCKED IN THE WORKING POSITION SERIOUS
INJURI MAY RESULT TO THE OPERATOR AND
TO THE MACHINE.
7.
To turn the tool depress the handle (2,Fig.4-3).
Release the handle to lock the tool.
BE SUR THAT THE LOCK PIN IS PROPERLY FITTED.
8.
To open and close the chuck, oper-ate the appropriate
control (1,Fig.4-4).
WHEN OPENING THE CHUCK ENSURE THAT
THE JAWS DO NOT HIT OTHER PARTS OF THE
MACHINE.
9.
Press the Emergency STOP button (2,Fig.4-4):
All controls are rendered inoperative thanks to the
hydraulic pump motor being switched off .
To restore operating conditions
· Turn the emergency button knob anti-clockwise
· Activate the start button, located on the electrical
control unit.
