5) ISTRUCTIONS FOR USE.
5.1 - Adjustment. Choose a suitable sized harness (Fig. 1) Place the harness in an
open position behind the lower back, so that you place it at the correct height (Fig.
1). Bring the ends of the harness close to the body as shown (Fig. 2). Pass the sling
of the belt inside the loop until it is positioned above the reinforced mobile loop
(Fig. 5.3). Pass the belt through the buckle, adjusting it so that it fits snug to the
body, without being too tight (Fig. 4.1÷4.2). Pass the belt back through the buckle
so that the danger sign is covered (Fig. 4.3÷4.4). Pass any excess belt through the
elastic straps (Fig. 5.6). Close and adjust the leg loops using the appropriate clips
and the elastic leg loop supports, in such a way that a hand can pass between
the leg loops and the leg of the user (Fig. 5.4). Attention! Before use, it is neces-
sary to carry out a hanging test in a safe environment, in order to ensure that the
harness has the correct size, it owns the possibility of a suitable adjustment and
an acceptable comfortability level for the intended use.
5.2 - RELEASY system. Tami is provided with the innovative Releasy system that
allows the quick opening of the leg loops, also with muffs and gloves, simply
pulling down the puller (Fig. 10).
5.3 - Use. The harness must be only connected to the system through the attach-
ment points intended for this use: single attachment point (belay loop - Fig. 7.1)
or double attachment point (harness loop + loop- Fig. 7.2). For connecting the
rope to the harness use a figure of 8 (Fig. 6) or two screw gate connectors having
opposed gate (Fig. 7.1). Attention! Do not use different attachment points than
the indicated ones (Fig. 8). Attention! Never use a tie-in method with only one
connector, as it may come to be loaded in a wrong position across the gate.
Attention! It is important to check regularly the buckles and/or the adjustment
devices during the use.
5.4 - Techniques. The harness can be used in mountaineering activities, for the
techniques of progression, belay (Fig. 11.1), abseiling (Fig. 11.2), Via Ferrata
routes, etc. Attention! Before each use, pre-arrange a suitable rescue plan that
could be executed in a safe and efficient way.
