ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO
DEL MOTOCICLO
NOTA
Se non avete confidenza col funzionamento del
motociclo, prima di guidarlo, leggete
attentamente le istruzioni contenute nel
paragrafo «COMANDI» (pag. 24).
CONTROLLI PRELIMINARI
Ogni qualvolta si intende usare il motociclo si
deve effettuare un controllo generale
procedendo alle seguenti verifiche:
- controllare il livello del carburante e dell'olio
motore (pag. 24 - 74);
- controllare il livello del fluido freni (pag. 92);
- controllare lo sterzo girando il manubrio a
fondo corsa in entrambi i sensi;
- controllare la pressione dei pneumatici (pag.
20);
- controllare la tensione della catena (pag. 84);
- controllare ed eventualmente registrare il
comando gas (pag. 78);
- ruotare la chiave dell'interruttore di
accensione in posizione ON e verificare, con
la gamba laterale sollevata e con il cambio in
folle l'accensione delle spie dell'olio e folle
(pag 32);
- innestando la prima, la spia del folle dovrà
spegnersi;
- accendere le luci di posizione e verificare
l'illuminazione del quadro strumenti;
- accendere l'abbagliante e gli indicatori di
direzione verificando l'accensione delle spie
relative (pag. 32);
- verificare l'accensione della luce dello stop
posteriore;
- controllare l'orientamento del fanale anteriore
(pag. 118).
RIDING
NOTE
If you are not familiar with operating the
motorcycle read paragraphs on "CONTROLS"
(pag. 24) before riding this motorcycle.
PRERIDING CHECKS
Any time you ride your motorcycle, make a
general inspection first and proceed to check
the following:
- check fuel level and gearbox oil level (page
24 - 74);
- check the brake fluid level (page 92);
- check the steering by turning the handlebar
both ways;
- check the tire pressure (page 20);
- check the chain tension (page 84);
- check the twist-grip adjusting it if necessary
(page 78);
- turn the ignition key switch to ON and check,
with the side stand up and gear in neutral,
that the oil and neutral pilot lights go on
(page 32);
- when shifting to the lower gear, the idle pilot
lamp should go off;
- turn on the tail lamps and check that the
instrument panel lights have lit up;
- turn on the high beam and the turn indicators.
Check that the respective pilots lights go on
(page 32);
- check if the rear stop light is functioning;
- check the headlamp alignment (page 118).

Si vous avez peu de familiarité avec votre moto,
avant de la conduire lisez attentivement les
instructions du paragraphe "COMMANDES"
(page 24).
CONTROLES PRELIMINAIRES
Chaque fois que vous utilisez votre moto,
effectuer un contrôle général comme suit:
- contrôler le niveau du carburant et celui de
l'huile des vitesses (pages 24 - 74);
- contrôler le niveau du fluide de freinage
(page 92);
- contrôler la direction en braquant le guidon à
fond dans les deux sens;
- contrôler la pression des pneus (page 20);
- contrôler la tension de la chaîne (page 84);
- contrôler et régler s'il le faut la poignée des
gaz (page 78);
- amener la clé de contact en position ON et
vérifier, avec la béquille latérale soulevée et
les vitesses au point mort, que les voyants
d'huile et de point mort s'allument (page 32);
- en engageant la première, le voyant du point
mort doit s'éteindre.
- allumer les feux de position et vérifier
l'éclairage du tableau de bord
- allumer le feu de route et les indicateurs de
direction et vérifier le bon éclairage des
voyants correspondants (page 32);
- contrôler l'allumage du stop;
- contrôler l'orientation du phare avant (page
118).
