Eye Protection and NFPA-compliant Bourke Lenses
WARNING!
Do not use abrasives, solvents, paint removers, acetone, paint or lacquer thinner, or any chlori-
nated organic solvents to clean the eye protection and NFPA-compliant Bourke lenses.
Do not use cleaner or polish on gold-coated eye/face protection. The cleaner may remove the gold
coating.
Failure to obey this warning can result in serious injury or death.
Use a soft sponge or cloth dampened with a solution of warm water and mild detergent or a cleaning
agent such as ethyl alcohol to wipe the MSA eye protection and Bourke lens.
To remove light scratching and smoke stains, use Meguiars Mirror Glaze Plastic Cleaner (P/N M1708)
and Clear Plastic Polish (P/N M1008). Visit

NOTICE
Fire helmets manufactured after March 2017 do not have cloth heatshields.

If applicable, remove the cloth heatshield from the impact
cap.

Move the visor to the "as worn" position (pulled down
