Setting the output signal scaling
Customer specific scaling
It is frequently desirable to scale a part of the nominal measuring range to the output signal.
Example:
Actual
The device has a nominal measuring range (1) 0 to 160 bar and the output signal is 4 to 20 mA (3).
Set point
Customer requirement: The "customer measuring range" (2) 40 to 80 bar (1) must be equivalent to the
output signal 4 to 20 mA (3). The scaling is thus 1:4 or 25% of the nominal measuring range.

Inverting the output signal
The device offers the possibility to invert the output signal (3).
During this process the output signal
•
0 to 20 mA for the output signal 20 to 0 mA
•
4 to 20 mA for the output signal 20 to 4 mA
•
0 to 10 V for the output signal 10 to 0 V
