2 Introduction
2.1

Description

This high-precision electronic pressure transmitter with switching contacts and a display predestined for
use on test benches, with laboratory equipment, and in special-purpose mechanical engineering. These
areas frequently require precise measuring and a configuration adapted to the measurement task. The
stainless steel sensor welded to the thin-film sensor features a high level of burst safety, which exceeds
the measuring range up to 5x in part. Consequently, the plant is reliably protected against medium leaks
in the event of a malfunction.
Default nominal measuring range settings of 160 and 600 bar are available. These ranges can be re-
scaled at a ratio of 1:4, offering the user the possibility to carry out several measuring tasks with a single
device. Depending on the application, variants with switching outputs and an analog output are available.
The process pressure is visualized by a large and positively-lit LCD display. The configuration can be
easily defined on the measuring device itself or using the more convenient setup program.
The case can be rotated through ±160° for improved readability and the display can be mirrored at 180°
for overhead installation. The pressure switch also features an auto-zero function for retroactive zero
point adjustment.
CAUTION!
The pressure transmitter is used for pressure measurement in gases and liquids. It can be a
source of risk if not used as intended.
The device may only be installed, connected and started up by qualified and authorized personnel ob-
serving these operating instructions, the applicable standards, and the legal requirements (depending
on the application).
The device does not meet the requirements "Equipment with safety function" as per the Pressure Vessel
Directive 2014/68/EU; see Technical Data.

2.2 General Information
(1) Sealing screw, access for operation
The device measures the relative pressure in liquid and gaseous media.
The pressure is displayed digitally.
The measuring range can be customized.
