10 : (3B) ATEX marking
This section of the pump code is indicated only if pump is ATEX certified.
Marking is engraved on pump nameplate. Correspondence between
code and ATEX description is indicated in the following table :

The marking "x" corresponds to a specific design and is indicated at the
end of the construction code. The detailed data regarding the pump are
available in the acknowledgment of order.

PERFORMANCE AND OPERATING LIMITS
5.2.2.1
TEMPERATURE
Maximum working temperature will be the most restrictive temperature
selected in the tables hereafter :
Temperature range according casing material :
Stainless
Temperature range according gaskets :
EPDM ‐40 to +120°C
Temperature range according motor assembly :
Close coupled
Biblock or on
baseframe
5.2.2.2
MAXIMUM WORKING PRESSURE
All pumps : 6 bar.
5.2.2.3
OPERATING RANGE & MINIMUM FLOW
S pumps are designed so that they can be used on the complete
hydraulic curve range.
Runing the pump at duty points on extreme points of the curve
will drive to a faster wear of some pump parts.
When the pump is used in an ATEX zone it is necessary to measure
the duty point and check that temperature increase corresponding
to each working condition is acceptable regarding selected surface
temperature.
The formula below gives the correspondence between surface
temperature / fluid temperature and pump efficiency :
