1)
The assignment of the green bus cable wire to data line A (RxD/TxD-N)
and of the red wire to data line B (RxD/TxD-P) is not standardized.
AVENTICS recommends the assignment shown in the table.
When using a cable with a filler cord, this can be additionally
connected to pin 5 on the bus plug (X71, X72).
The connection technology and plug assignment comply
with the specifications in the "Interconnection Technology"
technical directives (PNO order no. 2142).
6.3.2 Connecting the bus coupler as an intermediate
station
1. Set up the correct pin assignments (see Table 4 on page 93)
on the plug connections if you do not use pre-assembled
wiring.
2. Connect the incoming bus connection to X71 (1).
3. Connect the outgoing bus cable with the next module using
the X72 output (2).
4. Remove the PG fitting B.
5. Set switches S7 and S8 to "OFF" (bus terminator = OFF,
see also "Setting the bus terminator" on page 110).
6. Screw the PG fitting B back in. Pay attention that the sealing
ring is positioned correctly.
7. Connect the shield on both sides of the bus cable directly to
the plug housing (EMC housing) if non-pre-assembled
cables and plugs with metal housing are used. This protects
data lines from terminal interference.
