7.1.3 Setting diagnostic messages

The S3 mode switch used to set the diagnostic messages is
located under PG fitting A (see Fig. 8 on page 102).
When delivered, all switches are set to the OFF position.
The S3.8 switch is not assigned.

Set the necessary diagnostic messages using the S3 mode
switch (see Table 12).
The modified switch position will only be activated after a
new "Power-on".
Notes
The diagnostic message is displayed if a valve or digital output
on an 8DO module reports an overload or short circuit. This
diagnostic message is only displayed as long as this valve or
output is controlled.
In order to ensure safe switching, the switch voltage must be

The low voltage message appears approx. 10 ms after being
turned on and approx. 20 ms after being turned off.
If the voltage drops below 12 V, an EMERGENCY OFF message
