Commissioning and Operation
If the bus address does not match the address on the bus
coupler (according to "Setting the bus coupler address" on page
102), the address field in the work area can be opened by double
clicking on it and the addresses can then be corrected there.
7.2.4 Valve terminal configuration
As the valve system is a modularly constructed slave, the valve
system must now be added to the bus coupler.
1. Access the dialog window of the WinDP editor.
2. Double-click on the bus slave "RMV04-DP" in the bus slave
window.
This will display the modules available for this bus slave.
3. By clicking and then dragging, drop the valve system
"Ventile 1-24" (valves 1-24) on the bus coupler in the work
area. Always observe the following points:
– Only the maximum number of available valve positions on
the valve terminal is the deciding factor for choosing the
module. The actual number of valves is not significant!
– The valve terminal must always have the module number M0.
– Configurations with more than one valve terminal on one
bus coupler are not permissible.
4. Assign PLC outputs to the output bytes to be able to activate
the valves.
WinDP automatically shows the number of bytes that will be
transferred on the PROFIBUS DP. There are always 3 output
bytes with HF04 valves. The byte transfer on the PROFIBUS DP
does not depend on whether these bytes are allocated to PLC
outputs.
