7.2.9 Address assignments
Valve terminal address
To be able to activate specific valves, it is necessary to allocate
assignment
the bits of a PLC output to the individual valve positions on the
valve terminal. Examples for this assignment are found in
Table 14 on page 106 and Table 15 on page 107.
Single solenoid valves only use solenoid 14.
Address assignment for
The bit number corresponds to the M8 input numbers on the
input/output modules
input modules.
Example: If the PLC address E2 is assigned to an 8x input
module, bit E2.2 reads input 2 of input module 2. Input 0
corresponds to bit 0.
The same applies to output modules.
