2.2.2 Auspuffseite
Die SOGEVAC sind mit integrierten Auspuff-
Filtern ausgerüstet, die auch bei hohem
Gasdurchsatz den anfallenden Ölnebel bis zu
99% sicher abscheiden und ein ölnebelfreies
Abgas garantieren. Bei zugesetzten Auspuff-
Filtern öffnet bei 1,5 bar (absolut Druck) ein
By-pass (6/31) und die Filter werden überbrückt.
Dadurch steigen der Ölanteil im Abgas und der
Ölverbrauch der Pumpe an.
Im Einzelfall ist zu prüfen, ob eine Abgasleitung
notwendig und/oder vorgeschrieben ist.
Leichtflüchtige Stoffe können das Filter
passieren. Je nach Beschaffenheit des
abzupumpenden Mediums empfiehlt es sich,
zusätzlich eine Auspuffleitung anzuschließen ;
diese ist immer erforderlich, wenn die Abgase
gefährlich sind.
Vorsicht
Je nach Einsatzart bzw. gefördertem
Medium sind die entsprechenden
Vorschriften und Merkblätter zu beachten.
Der Auspuff der Pumpe ist ebenfalls mit einem
Innengewinde ausgestattet (6/30). Eine
Schlauchleitung kann über einen passenden
Einschraubnippel angeschlossen werden (siehe
Abb. 3 Abschnitt 1.4).
Der Querschnitt der Auspuffleitung soll
mindestens so groß sein wie der des Pumpen-
Anschlusses. Eine Auspuffleitung mit zu
geringem Querschnitt kann zu Überdruck in der
Pumpe führen.
Die Auspuffleitung ist abfallend zu
verlegen, um den Rückfluß von Kondensat in
die Pumpe zu verhindern. Falls das nicht
möglich ist, emp-fehlen wir dringend, einen
Kondensat-Abscheider einzubauen (siehe
Abschnitt 1.5). Werden mehrere Pumpen an
einer Auspuffleitung angeschlossen, sollte
neben der ausreichenden Dimensionierung
des Querschnittes beachtet werden, daß je
Pumpe eine Rückschlagklappe am Auspuff
vorgesehen wird.
Vorsicht
Auf keinen Fall darf die Pumpe mit
abgesperrter
oder
Auspuffleitung betrieben werden. Bitte achten
Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme darauf, daß in der
druckseitigen Abluftleitung - falls vorhanden -
Steckscheiben oder ähnliche Absperrorgane
geöffnet werden, und das die Abluftleitungen
nicht zugesetz sind.
- Bei der Montage der Auspuffleitung ist auf die
richtge Wahl des Werkstoffes zu achten : er
muß
dem
abzupumpenden
standhalten.
- Beim Abpumpen von gefährlichen Medien
soll darauf geachtet werden, daß die
Auspuffleitung dicht ist.
Der max. Auspuffdruck darf 1,15 bar (absolut)
nicht überschreiten. Verhindern Sie im Betrieb
sicher das Blockieren der Auspuffleitung.
Auspuff Filter, Zubehör und Rohrleitungen
müssen für den max. auftretenden Durchsatz
ausgelegt sein. Der max. Durchsatz ist das
Saugvermögen der Pumpe.
2.2.2 Exhaust Side
The SOGEVACs have integrated exhaust filters
which, even at a high gas throughput, trap the oil
mist with over 99% reliability and guarantee
exhaust gas free of oil mist. If the exhaust filters
are clogged, a by-pass (6/31) opens at 1.5 bar,
(absolute pressure), and the filters are bypassed.
As a result, the proportion of oil in the exhaust
gas as well as the pump's oil consumption rise.
Installing new exhaust filters will correct this
problem. (See Section 3.4).
Check in the individual case whether an exhaust
line is necessary and/or prescribed. Volatile
substances can pass through the filter.
Depending on the process gas, we recommend
connecting an exhaust line ; this is always
necessary when the exhaust gases are
dangerous.

Observe the safety precautions that apply
to your application and process gases.
The pump's exhaust port also has an internal thread
(6/30). A hose can be connected via a suitable
screw-in nipple (see Fig. 3 and Section 1.4).
The cross-section of the exhaust line should be at
least the same as that of the pump's exhaust port.
If the exhaust line is too narrow, overpressure may
occur in the pump.
Before installing the exhaust line remove the
exhaust-flange plate and ensure that the exhaust
demister(s) are secured tightly in place. They
sometimes loosen during shipping and installation.
A loose demister results in exhaust smoke during
start-up and operation.
Install the exhaust line with a downward slope
to prevent condensate from flowing back into the
pump. If this is not possible, we strongly
recommend installing a condensate trap (see
Section 1.5). If several pumps are connected to
one exhaust line, ensure an adequate cross-
section and a non-return valve at the exhaust of
each pump.
Warning
Never operate the pump with a
verengter
blocked or restricted exhaust line.
Before start-up, ensure, that any blinds or
similar shut-off devices in the exhaust line on
the pressure side are opened and that the
exhaust line is not obstructed.
Such restrictions reduce the pumping speed,
increase the temperature, and could overload
the motor or cause a dangerous overpressure
in the pump. Excessive pressure in the pump

could damage the seals, blow out the sight
glass, or rupture the pump housing. In addition
to
this

backpressure can result in hazardous process
gases leaking out of the pump. Il you are
purging the oil casing with inert gas, limit the

must be tight.

prevent the occurrence of any blockage in the

2.2.2 Côté refoulement
Les pompes SOGEVAC sont équipées de filtres
d'échappement qui séparent efficacement le brouillard
d'huile jusqu'à 99% même à des débits de gaz élevés
et qui garantissent un gaz d'échappement exempt de
brouillard d'huile. Lorsque les filtres d'échappement
sont colmatés, un by-pass (6/31) s'ouvre à 1,5 bar
(pression absolue) et les filtres sont alors court-
circuités. La part d'huile contenue dans le gaz
d'échappement et la consommation d'huile de la
pompe augmentent.
Dans certains cas, il convient de vérifier si une
conduite de gaz d'échappement est nécessaire et/ou
imposée. Des matières volatiles peuvent traverser le
filtre. Selon la nature du gaz devant être évacué, il est
recommandé de raccorder une conduite à
l'échappement ; cette mesure est toujours nécessaire
lorsque les gaz sont dangeureux.

également munie d'un taraudage (6/30). Une
conduite peut être raccordée à l'aide du
raccord approprié (voir fig. 3 et point 1.4).
La section de la conduite d'échappement doit
avoir au moins la dimension de l'orifice de la
pompe. Une conduite d'échappement à section
trop faible peut provoquer une surpression
dans la pompe.
