3.4 PLU memory

The PLU (Product Look Up) memory has 100 memory locations.
The PLU memory is written through the interface.
Each PLU location contains a name, piece weight, tare weight, reference weight,
positive tolerance and negative tolerance.
To write to the memory, the command
<K080Kplu;name;piece;tare;reference;plustol;minustol> is used.
- "plu" is the PLU location number, value from 001 to 100
- "name" consists of up to 20 characters (the first 7 characters are displayed)
- "piece" is the piece weight value in gr, with a point as decimal separator
- "tare" is the tare weight value in gr, with a point as decimal separator
- "reference" is the reference piece quantity value as a whole number without
decimal separator
- "plustol" is the positive tolerance value as a whole number without decimal
separator
- "minustol" is the negative tolerance value as a whole number without decimal
separator
The included product CD contains the PC software PLU memory which allows
data transfer from PC to the scale terminal.
To activate the Function key for the PLU memory in Setting mode:
see the description in Paragraph 1.13 or User mode 3720 (see separate
description 470.702.103)  UCAL4 Position 02 = Value 9.
PLU application:
Activate the PLU memory by pressing the Function key - the letters PLU and the
PLU number appear on the display.
The Tare button or Function key can be used to select the desired PLU location
number.
Press the Print button to store the selected PLU location.
The name briefly appears on the display, then the PLU is activated in Count
mode with the details in the memory, the triangle points at PLU.
You can change from Count mode to weighing mode using the CL button (if the
CL button has been activated in Setting mode) or the ON/Off button.
