3.8 Batching

The Plus button must be selected for the "Batching" function in Setting mode!
For Plus key settings, see User mode 3720 (separate description 470.702.103)
 UCAL 1 Position 08 = Value 3.
In weighing mode, place the item to be weighed then press the Plus button to
store the weight value in the batch memory.
Place the next item, press the Plus button to store the weight value in the batch
memory, then repeat the process.
A full batch memory is indicated by the sigma character (Σ).
Totalizing with 2 measuring stations (sets of scales)
Each of the two measuring stations (M1 and M2) has a separate batch memory.
The store, retrieve, printout and delete functions take place on the currently
active measuring station.
To retrieve the total value
press the INFO button and then the Plus button.
A rolling display appears, showing: gross, tare, net, and quantity.
The value retrieved from batch memory is indicated by a flashing sigma
character (Σ).
Press the ON/Off button to abort, or terminate.
To clear the batch memory and final total
press the CL button and then the Plus button, or
press the CL button only (if the CL button setting has been activated in Setting
mode).
Batching with tare
Refer to Paragraph 2.5.
When a Tare weight is active, the letter "N" appears on the display.
Auto-batching (function selected in Setting mode)
In weighing mode, place the item to be weighed then press the Plus button to
store the weight value in the batch memory.
Place the next item on the scales.
The weight value is stored automatically in the batch memory. Place the next
item on the scales, etc.
The batching function can be configured completely in Setting mode (see
separate description 470.702.103 User mode 3720 UCAL 1).
