3.7 Totalizing

In weighing mode, place the item to be weighed then press the Plus button to
store the weight value in the totalizing memory.
Remove the item from the platform or unload it if the following setting has been
made. In Setting mode, you can set the scales (see separate description
470.702.103 User mode 3720 UCAL 1 Position 10) to be unloaded by 1 to 30
scale divisions between individual items.
If the scales are not unloaded, the weight value is not stored in the totalizing
memory. This can be used, for example, to prevent double entries for the same
item.
Place the next item, press the Plus button to store the weight value in the
totalizing memory, then repeat the process.
A full totalizing memory is indicated by the sigma character (Σ).
Totalizing with 2 measuring stations (sets of scales)
Each of the two measuring stations (M1 and M2) has a separate totalizing
memory.
The store, retrieve, printout and delete functions take place on the currently
active measuring station.
To retrieve the totalized value
press the INFO button and then the Plus button.
A rolling display appears, showing: gross, tare, net, and quantity.
The value in the totalizing memory is indicated by a flashing sigma character
(Σ).
Press the ON/Off button to abort, or terminate.
To clear the totalizing memory and final total
press the CL button and then the Plus button, or
press the CL button only (if the CL button setting has been activated in Setting
mode).
Totalizing with tare
Refer to Paragraph 2.5.
When a Tare weight is active, the letter "N" appears on the display.
Auto-totalizing (function selected in Setting mode)
In weighing mode, place the item to be weighed then press the Plus button to
store the weight value in the totalizing memory.
Remove the item from the platform.
Place the next item on the scales.
The weight value is stored automatically in the totalizing memory. Remove the
item from the platform, place the next item on the scales, and so on.
The totalizing function can be configured completely in Setting mode (see
separate description 470.702.103 User mode 3720 UCAL 1).
