3.9 Formulation

The formulation memory has 20 entries, each with 12 components. Components
are stored as for PLU. The formulation memory is written through the interface.
Each formula contains the name, component 1, component 2 etc. up to
component12.
To do this, the command <K081Kformula;name;C1;C2;...C12> is used.
- "formula" is the formula number, with a value from 001 to 020
- "name" consists of up to 20 characters (the first 7 characters are displayed)
- C1..C12 are the components of the formula (PLU memory number, e.g. 001)
The included product CD contains the PC software PLU memory which allows
data transfer from PC to the scale terminal.
Use the Function key in setting mode to activate formulation.
To set it, see Paragraph 1.13 or User mode 3720 (see separate description
470.702.103)  UCAL4 Position 02 = Value 11.
Formula application
Activate a formula by pressing the Function key, the letters  and the formula
number appear on the display.
The Tare button or Function key can be used to select the desired formula
number.
Press the Print button to store the selected formula.
The name briefly appears on the display, then the formula is activated in
weighing mode with the details in the memory, and a flashing triangle on the
display points at PLU.
Place an empty container on the platform and press the Tare button, or press
the Plus button to start without tare weight.
The component name appears briefly and the reference value appears as a
minus value on the display. Measure out the component onto the scales until
the value 0 is displayed, then finish by pressing the + button.
The next component name appears briefly and the reference weight appears as
a minus value on the display. Measure out the component onto the scales until
the value 0 is displayed, then finish by pressing the + button.
After the last component, the end of formula is indicated by the characters
 on the display.
Press the On/Off button to abort or exit formulation mode.
Weight checks on the components are also performed within the tolerance,
either visually through the external traffic lights display (optional) or on the
scales terminal with a beep signal and flashing display.
