2. BASIC FUNCTIONS

The basic functions are used in the same or similar ways in all application programs.

2.1 Switching On

Only with the scales unloaded.
After the test routine is completed, the calibration counter appears briefly and
then the display switches to zero.
The scales are now ready for use.
Place the item to be weighed on the scales.
The display shows the gross weight.

2.2 Switching Off

The scales can be switched off immediately if they are empty and the displayed
weight is 0.
Otherwise, hold the button for 5 seconds.

2.3 Zero setting

Press the Zero button to correct any minor deviations from the zero point, which
may be caused by dirt on the scales.
Approvable and non-approvable zero setting range: -1 to +3% of the weighing
range.
