2.1 Intended Use

This product is used to determine the density of solid objects or liquids . For the
determination of the density of solid objects, a test liquid must be used .
This product must be operated with Sartorius laboratory balances with a suitable
readability .
If the laboratory balance has a density determination program: Density values can be
calculated automatically using the density determination kit and density
determination program .
If the density determination program is used to determine density: The density must
be determined as described in the laboratory balance operating instructions .
The product is intended exclusively for use in accordance with these instructions .
Any further use beyond this is considered improper .

2.2 Glass Components

The glass plummet, beakers, and thermometer are made of glass . Broken glass can
cause injuries .
If the glass plummet, beakers, or thermometer become damaged: Replace the glass
