4.3.4 Installing the Glass Plummet
A wire is attached to the glass plummet by a wire
eyelet . The wire eyelet must be suspended from the
hook on the glass plummet .
Procedure
NOTICE The wire can break if it is bent! Pull the

glass plummet out of the packaging by the glass
eyelet . Do not bend the wire on the glass plummet .
Loop the wire eyelet of the glass plummet over the
t
hook of the retainer .
Attach the hook of the glass plummet to the frame .

4.3.5 Installing the Thermometer
Procedure
Place the thermometer in the beaker .

If the thermometer needs to be attached:

Attach the thermometer to the rim of the beaker
using the retainer clip .
