Functional description
4.1
Mechanical functions
The metering pumps
driven by an electrical motor.
The metering pumps are suitable for use with clean, non-abrasive metering media with a
viscosity of up to 100 mPas (measuring manner: Brookfield).
An eccentric screw gear (pos. 4) moves the delivery diaphragm (pos. 2) and delivers the
metering medium via the pressure valve (pos. 1). The suction valve is closed.
Fig. 4.1
To protect the metering device, the use of a suction pipe with an empty reporting device
and dirt arrestor (available from our range of accessories) is highly recommended!
WARNING
The empty reporting device switches off the pump if it falls below a certain level (in the
container).
4.2
Electronic functions
The pump is operated using four keys (Fig. 5.3, Pos. 3, 4,
(see "Chapter
The operating indicator is shown on a graphical display (Fig. 5.3, Pos 2).

Additional electronic functions on the
• Oval gear meter connection / Oval gear meter evaluation
• Metering regulation with the aid of a oval gear meter, type OGM
• Automatic calibration is possible with the oval gear meter, type OGM
•
Splitting of the metering lock/pulse/metering monitoring/oval gear meter inputs into
multiple connections to simplify the external connections.
4.4
Operation mode
The pump may be used in three different operation modes:
INTERNAL
EXTERNAL
EXTERNAL
The Configuration menu item can also be used to set batch metering (a specific quantity is
metered on each start pulse).

are diaphragm metering pumps
The delivery diaphragm is moved back
through a return spring (pos. 3).
The metering medium is thereby sucked up
into the metering head via the suction valve
(pos. 6). The pressure valve is closed.
The discharge flow can be steplessly
regulated during operation via the stroke
setting (pos. 5). In this way, the resetting
motion of the diaphragm is limited.
