Hereunder are detailed the stops to follow in order to drain the boiler as well as the recirculation pump ;
please note however that this operation must be carried out by a specialized technician.
On the Hidrocopper models, the steam trap can be found when opening the right door, on the left top part;
open it until water falls down.
On the as- built model, the draining operation shall be made the same way; but the purger is located on the
front part of the boiler, hidden by the frontal hubcap.
For the super Insert model, the purge procedure is completed in the same way that the rest of boilers, but
the location with the rest changes. The purger is placed at the rear of the boiler, behind the heat exchanger.
The other piece to be drained is the circulation or acceleration pump – depending on the model, it is
provided either with a manual key or a screw, as shown on below drawing 10. To drain the pump, the same process
as for the steam trap is required.
The first thing to do is locate the keyboard in the fireplace inside a box, with the remote control, room
thermostat and power wiring.
Apart from insert Hidrocopper models, the screws fixing the keyboard (

) as shown in drawing 11. Connect the keyboard connection band (
with adhesive tape and connect it to the keyboard (

In Hidrocopper insert model, the keyboard support is the trim frame and the flat ribbon is directly connected
with CPU. You must stretch it and perform the same connection steps which are made in the Hidrocopper model.
For the Super Insert models, the keyboard in installed in the left top front door, as shown in drawing 13.
Finally, connect the room thermostat (
power connection (

The room sensor and the power wire are connected at the rear of the Hidrocopper, Hidrocopper insert,
Hidrocopper Super and Cantina Super models as shown in drawing 12 (Hidrocopper) and behind the left lower front
door in Super Insert model as shown in drawing 13. You will know that the boiler recognize it because the room
temperature will be shown in the control panel. If you connect a thermostat or contact instead of displaying the
room temperature it will be shown ( · ) indicating this that there is something connected in the communication port.
