Lateral wall.
B
Back of the boiler.
C
Side of the boiler to wall.
D
Central front part protecting from sparks.
4.29.
Locate the center of the gas outlet pipe on the boiler (you can use the measures indicated at the end of the
manual), indicate it on the wall, punch the wall with a 90mm ring and make sure to leave 100mm distance
with any flammable item that might be present in the wall. These measures are merely informative and can
vary according to the pipe manufacturer.
4.30.
For a double-wall installation, a 150mm ring shall be used to punch the wall. The same security distances as
above apply. As stated hereunder, consider the measures provided as being given for information only.
4.31.
Introduce a gas outlet pipe through the hole made on the wall, link it to the end of the extractor and fix it
with a metallic flange. The extremities of the pipe shall be sealed with silicone at high temperature and
aluminium belt.
4.32.
Push the boiler backward to its final location.
4.33.
Place a 45° elbow and a stainless steel "T" on the outside of the home. With this "T" we can channel the pipe
in vertical and at the same time we will have a cleaning outlet for future maintenance. In case of having an
indoor fireplace, the elbow and the "T" would be located inside the house, on the back of the boiler.
4.34.
Use a metallic hose clamp to get the pipe along the wall.
4.35.
At the end of the pipe, install a stainless steel windbreak; this is what we recommend for higher life duration
of the pipe.
4.36.
Go until point 4.30 of the chapter dealing with gas outlet through walls.
4.37.
When punching a wooden wall, it is necessary to install an insulation hose. For this reason, the hole shall be
of 200mm outside and 100mm inside. Again, the measures provided herein are merely given for information
and may vary depending on the type of insulation used by the pipe manufacturer.
4.38.
Once the wall hollowed, introduce a part of the pipe in the insulator. If it is slack, it is possible to use mineral
wool and put hubcaps at each side.
4.39.
From here, please follow stops starting from point the previous paragraph 4.32.
