Replacing the diaphragm and pump head

1 Pump head
2 Metering head screw
3 Ceramics piston
WARNING!
Before opening pump head:
empty connecting lines, rinse the pump head, the ceramics cylinder can be
destroyed when being set on edges!
1. Loosen the metering head screws (pos. 2).
2. Take off the pump head (pos. 1) absolute straightly.
3. Take ceramics piston (pos. 3) sideways out of the coupling of the diaphragm unit
(pos. 4).
4. Un screw diaphragma unit (pos. 4).
5. Remove intermediate plate (pos. 6).
6. Exchange bellows (pos. 5).
7. Do not overdraw the diaphragm unit (pos. 4) when tightening, screw gently until
stop.
8. The leakage connection of the intermediate plate (pos. 6) must be directed
downwards.
9. Re-insert the piston (pos. 3).
10. Attach cylinder carefully on the pump head.
11. Hand-screw pump head screws.
12. Screw-down cross-over pump head screws.
WARNING!
Check metering head bolt tightening torque after 24 hours.
Screw down the pump head absolute straight. Tighten the metering head
evenly diagonally.
*1 Correct tightening torque: 3 to 4 Nm.
