Most people find that the most comfortable steam bathing temperature is between 40°C and 45°C. Use a bi-metallic
thermometer to check the temperature. Fix it to the wall approximately 170 cm above floor level, as far from the steam jet as
possible. There is no need for a hygrometer; relative humidity in a steam bath is always 100%.
• Shower with soap before starting your steam bath.
• Relax and enjoy the soothing clouds of steam.
• Cool down now and again with a refreshing shower. Alternate between the steam bath and the shower as often as you wish
and for as long as you feel comfortable.
• After your final visit to the steam room, a long, cool shower is a real delight.
Let your body dry off naturally before getting dressed. Allow your body to cool down and your pores to close before putting on
any clothes. Relax, treat yourself to a cold drink, and enjoy the sensation of true well-being.

1.16 Cleaning the steam room

After each time the steam room has been used, rinse seats and flooring with warm water (do not use a high-pressure hose).
Wash the seats regularly with a mild soapy solution. Stubborn stains can be removed with ethanol or white (mineral) spirit.
Never use scouring powder, strong alkaline cleaners or aggressive solvents on the seats and walls in the steam room.
It is important to clean the steam room floor thoroughly – right into the corners. Use hot water, a scrubbing brush and a floor
cleaner that removes grease and grime.

2.1 Connecting to the water supply

Connect cold water to pipe joint 1 (Figure 4) on the steam generator. The pressure for incoming water is max. 10 bar.
IMPORTANT! Flush the pipes thoroughly before connecting the incoming water supply to the steam generator.
Flushing the pipes prevents any metal filings or other foreign bodies from entering the steam generator.
To prevent noises in the system a hose is supplied to connect the copper piping (minimum internal Ø 12 mm) and the steam
generator.
NOTE:
In hard-water areas, where calcium levels exceed 7 dH, we recommend installing a water softener to remove calcium from the
water. The water softener must not generate any froth on the surface of the water or produce harmful chemicals.

2.2 Steam pipe

Connect the pipe joint to the steam outlet (2) on the generator. Connect a length of copper piping 1 ¼" (32 mm) (D, Figure 1) to
the steam outlet on the pipe joint (A, Figure 4). The steam pipe may slope towards the steam room or the steam generator – or
towards both. The steam pipe branches into two steam outlets with copper piping min. Ø 15mm (G, Figure 1).
