IMPORTANT! There must be no water pockets or sags where steam can condense and collect as water along the pipe between
the steam generator and the steam room.
Figure 6.
Make sure there are as few bends as possible in the steam pipe. Any bends must be gently curved, with a minimum radius of 5
cm. Avoid any sharp "elbows" in the pipes.
IMPORTANT! There must not be any type of obstruction along the steam line, such as a valve, tap, etc. The internal diameter of
the steam pipe must not be reduced. If the steam pipe is more than 3 metres long, it must be insulated along its full length. If a
steam pipe is left uninsulated, there must be a gap of at least 10 mm between the pipe and any combustible material (for
example, wood).

Fitting the steam head.
Please see the instructions supplied with Grace Steam Outlet
IMPORTANT!
The steam head is fitted inside the steam room 5–40 cm above floor level. Steam is released into the room lengthwise under the
seating parallel with the floor. Do not direct the jet of steam at walls, seats or any other object. Make sure that there is at least
70 cm of free space in front of the steam head. In steam rooms where there is no space under the seats, the jet of steam should
be directed diagonally upwards. Set the spout so that the jet of steam is directed away from bathers. If the steam room is used
by children or people whose reactions are slow or impaired, a guard should be fitted to prevent accidental contact with the jet of
steam close to the steam head.

2.3 Drainage

Drainage from the steam generator. Fit the drainage pipe (1 ¼" copper piping) to connection number 3 (Figure 4) on the steam
generator. The pipe must lead directly to the nearest drain outside the steam room itself. The temperature of the water that is
drained off is approximately 65°C. The maximum speed at which the tank empties is approx. 15 litres/minute. Connect the
drainage pipe to a collector if the drain cannot accommodate this amount of water.
IMPORTANT! There must be no blockage of any type (tap, faucet, etc.) along the drainage pipe.
The drainage pipe must slope all the way from the steam generator to the drain.

3. Electrical installation

To be carried out only by an authorised electrician.
The feed cable to the steam generator is taken directly from the main power supply. An isolating power switch must be fitted
along this feed line (Figure 1). See also the section on "Automatic emptying" under the heading "General information".
At the point where the cable connects to the main power supply, the impedance must be 0.298 Ω or less.
The control panel is to be connected to the sauna heater using a twisted pair type of cable, 2-LifYCY 2X2X0.2 mm.
Wiring diagram 10 shows the wiring to a Steam Pro generator.
Do not forget to earth/ground the unit!

3.1 Lighting

Can be regulated via the control panel.
Maximum lighting voltage: 24 volts. Open up the pre-prepared holes in the lighting chassis and fit the cable bushings supplied.
Connect the lighting according to the wiring diagram.

3.2 Fitting the thermistor (sensor)

Place the sensor 170 cm above floor level inside the steam room. Important: Place the sensor as far from the steam jet as
possible. It must not be hit by the jet directly or indirectly.
The thermistor wire can be extended outside of the steam room with a shielded low-voltage cable (2-core).
4. Optional accessories for Tylö Steam Pro

4.1 External ON/OFF switch (momentary/constant contact)

This switch can be placed at any distance from the steam bath. Connect with a low-current cable (see Wiring diagram 13). If
more than one external on/off switch is used, the switches must be connected in parallel
Several separate units can be
.
switched on and off using the same external switch.
