Facing
Non combustible finishing materials such as brick or ceramic can be glued to the facade of the
fireplace. Do not put a seal between the faceplate and the finishing material to facilitate removal
of the facaplate, if necessary.

Combustible Shelf Installation
A combustible shelf with a depth of 6" (152 mm)
(C) can be installed at least 58" (1,47 m) (B)
from the base of the fireplace.
Different shelf sizes are listed in the following
table.

No shelf may be installed lower than 58" (1.47 m)
from the base of the fireplace.
For a shelf dimension that does not appear in the
table, add 52" (1,32 m) to the depth of the shelf
to find the safe position of the shelf.
The height (A) should always be 80" (2.03 m)
from the base of the fireplace.
