Afterwards, you can select the different functions with the buttons "INC" and "DEC".
• "CHARGE": Charge lithium accumulator without balancer connection
• "BALANCE": Charge lithium accumulator with balancer connection
• "FAST CHG": Fast accumulator charging
• "STORAGE": Charging/discharging accumulators to a set voltage value
• "DISCHARGE": Discharging the accumulator
b) Charging accumulators without balancer connection ("CHARGE")
• After selecting "CHARGE", the following display appears, for example:
LiPo CHARGE
LiPo CHARGE
LiPo CHARGE
LiPo CHARGE
LiPo CHARGE
2.0A
2.0A
2.0A
2.0A
2.0A
The value on the left in the second line shows the charge current, the value on the right shows
the voltage or number of cells of the accumulator pack (in this example, a 3-cell LiPo
accumulator pack, 3x3.7V=11.1V)
Select the accumulator type (LiPo, LiIon, LiFe) as described in chapter 16.
• If the values need to be changed, press the "Start/Enter" button. The charge current begins
to flash. Change the charge current using the buttons "INC" and "DEC", confirm the value
using the "Start/Enter" button.
• The voltage then begins to flash. Change it using the buttons "INC" and "DEC". You should
be aware while doing this that the voltage only changes with the number of cells (e.g. one
cell = 3.7V, two cells 7.4V etc.) Confirm the setting by pressing the "Start/Enter" button.
• To begin the charging process, keep the "Start/Enter" button pressed (approx. 3 seconds).
• If the settings are wrong, or if the charger detects a problem, an audio signal is emitted and
the appropriate information is shown on the display.
You can stop the audio signal by pressing the "Batt Type/Stop" button. You then return to
the previous configuration menu.
