Then you can use the buttons "+" and "-" to select the different functions (or move your
finger clockwise or counterclockwise on the sensor field):
• "CHARGE": Charge lithium battery without balancer connection
• "BALANCE": Charge lithium battery with balancer connection
• "FAST CHG": Fast battery charging
• "STORAGE": Charging/discharging batteries at a set voltage value
• "DISCHARGE": Discharging the battery
b) Charging Batteries without Balancer Connection ("CHARGE")
• After selecting "CHARGE", the following display appears, for example:

The value on the left in the lower line shows the charge current, the value on the right
shows the voltage or number of cells of the battery pack (in this example, a 3-cell LiPo
battery pack,
3 x 3.7 V = 11.1 V)
Select the battery type (LiPo, LiIon, LiFe) as described in chapter 16.
• If the values need to be changed, press the "ENTER/START" button. The charge current
begins to flash. Change the charge current using the keys "+" and "-", confirm the value
using the "ENTER/START" key.
The maximum possible charge current depends on the battery type and number of
cells. Please note the chapter "Technical Data" at the end of this operating
instruction.
• The voltage then begins to flash. Change this using the buttons "+" and "-". You should
be aware while doing this that the voltage only changes with the number of cells (e.g.
one cell = 3.7 V, two cells 7.4 V etc.) Confirm the setting by pressing the "ENTER/
START" button.
• To begin the charging process, keep the "ENTER/START" button pressed for longer
(approx. 3 seconds).
• If the settings are wrong, or if the charger detects a problem (e.g. no battery connected),
an audio signal is emitted and the appropriate information is shown on the display.
