lever and frame.
• Make sure the overtravel lever (Ref.Z) is in the
"OPEN" position (Pic. 22).
• Turn the knob (Ref. AA) anticlockwise (Pic. 23)
until the roller of the resistance unit touches the
wheel.
• Turn the overtravel lever (Ref. Z) 180° to the right
(Pic. 24) to the "CLOSE" position and check the
pressure of the wheel on the unit support.
• If the wheel is moved too far from the middle
of the Roller (Pic.25), shift the resistance unit
by bringing the overtravel lever to the "OPEN"
position (Pic.22), loosening the fixing screws of
the unit (Pic.26), tightening them in a more correct
position (Pic.27) and turning the overtravel lever
(Z) 180° to the right to the "CLOSE" position
(Pic.24).
• Make sure the frame is completely unfolded and
start pedaling.
CONNECTING THE GROUND CABLE
• To solve potential static issues that might
cause software disconnections during use, the
Elite Rampa includes a ground cable (Ref. I) that
connects unit and frame (use is optional).
Installation is best carried out before mounting
the bicycle to the Rampa frame.
• Remove the nut-cover (Ref. D) from the unit (Ref.
M) and unscrew the M4 nut (Ref. L) (Fig. 28-29ª).
• Slide the hole at the end of ground cable over the
screw protruding from the unit, replace the M4 nut
(Ref. L), tighten and replace the nut cover (Ref. M)
(Pic. 30 and 31).
• Unscrew the M4 screw (Ref. N) from the frame
(Ref. A) (Pic. 32) and re-screw with the edge of the
cable to the frame (Ref. A) (Pic. 33 and Pic. 34).
USING THE UNIT
Rampa is ready for use after mounting the unit to
the frame. You will need a compatible app, compu-
ter and software to display data and adjust resi-
stance.
The pairing, data collection and resistance-
adjustment phases use the ANT+
Smart protocols, while the various modes will
depend on the app/cycle computer.
The connection procedure and the use of the
device depends on the device itself and the
software / app you wish to use. Check the software
/ app for instructions on how to connect and for
use during training.

• Attention: Integrated wireless systems that
work on the same frequency band can interfere
with the data transmission of Rampa. In this
case, deactivate them.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or cold and
damp environments for prolonged periods of
time when not in use.
• Never use chemical detergents (petrol or
thinners) on any part of Rampa.
• We suggest using the My E-Training app,
available for iOS and Android.
• It's possible to use third-party software that is
compatible with the hometrainer communications
protocol/standards. There are several software/
apps/devices currently on the market that can
connect to the Rampa.
• Please refer to the instructions for the specific
software/app/device for a proper connection to the
hometrainer.
• Before beginning the connection procedure
with any app, make sure that the hometrainer
is powered up and is not on the energy saver
mode. The supplied hometrainer charger must
be connected to a power source. The hometrainer
motherboard has an LED light, lit up or blinking,
that indicates the hometrainer mode/state.
• A blinking LED light signifies that the
motherboard is awaiting connection. A lit LED
indicates that the hometrainer is connected to a
device.
• The cadence value is not accurate:
the algorithm that calculates cadence without
a sensor can sometimes vary in accuracy. This
might happen when training with a high pedaling
and Bluetooth
cadence at a low resistance level.
TM
Please consider the addition of an ELITE cadence
sensor, available from online shop, or the use of
an after market wireless sensor.
• If the hometrainer does not connect to the app/
software:
The hometrainer needs to be properly powered up
to work and it needs to connect to a device within
