15 minutes, otherwise it will automatically enter
its energy saving phase. Start pedaling or unplug
it and plug it in again to reactivate it, and then
connect to a device within 15 minutes.
REMOVING THE BICYCLE
Please follow this procedure to remove the bicycle:
• Pull up the lever (Ref. Z) (Pic. 22).
• Remove the power supply from the hometrainer
by disconnecting the jack plug of the power char-
ger from the resistance unit.
• If one is installed, remove the cadence sensor
from the bicycle. Alternatively, you can remove the
magnet from the crank.
• Remove the blocking lever from the stand
(Pic.13) while keeping your hand on the saddle to
prevent the bicycle from falling.
• Lift the bicycle and remove it from the stand.
For transport, or to save space, we suggest folding
the legs of the frame and pushing the resistance
unit inwards (Pic. 35).
• During long periods of inactivity and in case of
long travels, it is advisable to completely remove
the resistance unit from the trainer base and store
it in it's original packaging.
• Keep people, children and animals away from
the roller during use, since the moving and rota-
ting parts of the roller and the bicycle can cause
damage in case of contact.
• Before starting training, position the trainer
in a dry place, away from potentially hazardous
objects (furniture, tables, chairs, etc.) in order to
avoid any risk of inadvertent or accidental con-
tact with them.
• The resistance unit becomes warm when in
use. Wait until it has cooled before touching
shells.
• Do not brake when using the trainer, as this can
permanently damage the roller and the tyre.
• The stand is designed for use by just one cycli-
st.
• Check the safety and stability of the bicycle be-
fore every training session.
Whenever the roller has to be shipped for assi-
stance or for some other reason, special attention
must be paid to ensure its correct packing.
• Remove the resistance unit from stand, undoing
the 2 screws fixing it to the support plate.
• Unplug the power cable from the unit.
• Store the charger in a container to avoid moistu-
re.
• Pack the resistance unit in its original box. If this
box is not available, pack the unit, paying particu-
lar attention to the flywheel. During shipments,
packs often undergo mistreatment and very hard
impacts, therefore inadequate packing can result
in permanent damage to the roller. This type of
damage is not covered by the warranty. Pack the
roller as though it had to be dropped with box from
a height of 1 meter.
Note: before sending the roller or any other com-
ponent assistance, always firstly consult Elite or
the distributor.
ATTENTION
• If the quick release is not compatible with the
bushings of the stand, replace it with the one
supplied (Ref. H).
• There are no individually usable components
on the inside. The warranty is invalidated if the
unit is opened or tampered with.
• Since the feet are made from soft non-slip ma-
terial, during use they may leave rubber marks
on the floor.
• During use of the Rampa with Elastogel rol-
ler, slight wear of the roller is to be considered
normal. Tests carried out at Elite show that af-
ter continuous use for 20,000 km, roller wear is
around 0.1 mm, and as the total thickness is 10
mm, far greater wear does not prevent correct
operation of the trainer.
Claims due to improper or careless use will not
be acknowledged. Possible slight wear of the
rubber part comes within the norm.
