CONNECTING THE GROUND CABLE
• To solve potential static issues that might cause
software disconnections during use, the Elite
RealAxiom B+ includes a ground cable (Ref. N) that
connects unit and frame (use is optional).
Installation is best carried out before mounting the
bicycle to the RealAxiom B+ frame.
• Remove the nut-cover (Ref. D) from the unit (Ref.
AB) and unscrew the M4 nut (Ref. AC) (Fig. 33).
• Slide the hole at the end of ground cable over the
screw protruding from the unit, replace the M4 nut
(Ref. AC), tighten and replace the nut cover (Ref.
AB) (Fig. 34 and 35).
• Unscrew the M4 screw (Ref. AD) from the frame
(Ref. A) (Fig. 36) and re-screw with the edge of the
cable to the frame (Ref. A) (Fig. 37 and Fig. 38).
ASSEMBLY OF THE CONSOLE
TO THE HANDLEBAR
The console can be fitted in two different positions,
on the handlebar of the bicycle (see figure 39) or on
the handlebar stem (see figure 40).
To fix the wireless console to the handlebar of the
bicycle, just place it on the tube and secure it with
the two rubbers provided, wrapping the handlebar
tube and clamping the two rubbers on the teeth
located on the back of the console.
To fix the wireless console to the handlebar stem, it
is necessary to use the adapter included (Ref. AD).
The adapter must be fixed to the console in place
of the two rubbers. Therefore remove the two
rubbers, undoing the screws fixing them to the
console. Then position the adapter in place of the
2 rubbers (see image 41) and fix it with the two
screws included (Ref. AG). Insert the rubbers in
the special spaces in the adapter (see image 41)
and secure them with the two screws used to fix
them.
ASSEMBLY OF THE CADENCE SENSOR
The cadence sensor (Ref. H) counts the number of
revolutions of the crank arm per minute (rpm). Place
it on the rear chain stay (on the side opposite the drive
train) and install the pedal magnet (Ref. I) to the crank
arm. Consult the "Cadence Sensor Instruction" sheet
for complete assembly instructions.
CONNECTIONS
NOTE: CAUTION: DO NOT PLUG IN THE USB ANT
KEY BEFORE INSTALLING THE REAL SOFTWARE.

Wireless Console – Pc Connection
The RealAxiom B+ console uses radio technology
for exchanging information with the PC. To enable
the exchange of data with the PC, it is necessary
to use the USB key (Ref. K). This USB key must be
inserted in one of the PC's USB ports.
ATTENTION: DO NOT INSERT THE USB KEY
IN THE COMPUTER BEFORE INSTALLING THE
REAL PROGRAMME.
The maximum connection distance between the
PC and console in optimum conditions and in
open field can be up to 10 m. This distance can
drastically decrease, depending on many factors:
obstacles, electromagnetic interference, position
of the bicycle and the key.
Unit Connection
The resistance unit has 2 connectors positioned
on the back (bicycle side) of the resistance unit:
• connector for cadence sensor.
• Connector for power jack.
If you wish to install the cadence sensor (Ref.
H), plug in the sensor to the connector on the
resistance unit.
Connect the power supply (Ref. Q) to the power
source and connect the jack to the resistance unit.
A slight vibration indicates that the system is
positioning itself in the initial position. This can
take up to 15 seconds.
IMPORTANT: TO POWER THE ROLLER, ONLY
USE THE POWER ADAPTER SUPPLIED IN THE
REALAXIOM B+ BOX.
Then tighten the 2 cables (power output, cadence
cable) to the unit using the two supplied clamps
that prevent potential damage to the connectors
plugged in to the circuit board (see fig. 42).
USING THE REALAXIOM B+
WITHOUT THE COMPUTER
It is possible to use the RealAxiom B+ without
a computer ("Stand Alone" mode). To activate
"Stand Alone" mode, simultaneously push the "
" and " " keys (see fig. 43) on the Wireless
Console until the right LED starts blinking,
signifying that the resistance unit can now
be manually controlled through the Wireless
Console, increasing or decreasing resistance
simply by tapping on the keys (" " and " ").
In order to use this mode it is necessary to
connect the console at least once to the Real
software. To install the software and connect the
PC please see the "Using the RealAxiom B+ with
