Instruction Manual
Irregular workpieces (without flat clamping surfaces) must be
clamped using special clamping tools, as the workpieces must not
move during cutting. This could result in damage to the cut-off wheel
or to the sample itself. Use the T-slots to mount the special clamping
tools. Struers offers a large selection of Clamping Tools (See
"Accessories").
To achieve faster cutting, position the workpiece so that the wheel
will cut the smallest possible cross-section.
The left-hand side cover of the protection hood can be replaced with
a specially designed safety box extension.
Please refer to the section on Accessories for details.
To cut flat parallel sections, an adjustable table may be mounted on
top of the existing cutting table. The adjustable table positions the
workpiece at a right angle to the cut-off wheel and has a sideways
movement of 60mm.
Please refer to the section on Accessories.
