Playback
When you press the OPTION button again, the option
screen is canceled.
For details on screen division mode, see "Monitoring
Multiple Cameras Simultaneously (Divided Screen)" on
page 21(GB).
Pre-Reverse Playback –
Playback During Recording
Press the B PLAY/PRE REVERSE PLAY button
during recording.
While maintaining recording in progress, playback
begins from the point in the normal recording area just
before the specified pre-reverse play time (1 to 99
minutes) from the current time.
If you press the B PLAY/PRE REVERSE PLAY
button shortly after starting recording and the duration
of recorded data in the normal recording area is still
shorter than the specified pre-reverse play time,
playback begins from the starting point of recording.
When playback reaches to the current time, pre-reverse
playback is canceled.
Setting the pre-reverse play time
Use the submenu 5. PRE REVERSE of the main menu

Select 1. INITIAL SET from the main menu.

Select 5. PRE REVERSE from the submenu.
The PRE REVERSE PLAY display appears.

Turn the Jog dial to highlight PRE REVERSE
PLAY TIME line and turn the Shuttle dial
clockwise.

Turn the Jog dial to set the desired time and turn
the Shuttle dial clockwise to register the setting.

To exit the menu, press the EXIT/OSD button.

Still-Picture Playback

During playback, press the X PAUSE button.
The indicator of the X PAUSE button lights, and the
playback picture freezes.
Press the X PAUSE button again to restore normal
playback.
To advance or reverse the still picture frame
by frame
Using the Jog dial, frame-by-frame playback can be
done in both the forward and reverse directions.
Turning the Jog dial clockwise advances the pictures
frame by frame, and turning it counterclockwise
reverses the pictures frame by frame.

Variable-Speed Playback

The Jog and Shuttle dials enable playback at various
speeds.
With the Jog dial
Using the Jog dial, you may change the playback speed
(playback rate specified in frames per second).
Set the unit in Playback mode and turn the Jog dial.
If you rotate it clockwise, the playback speed
increases. Counterclockwise rotation decreases the
playback speed.
Press the B PLAY button to restore normal playback
speed.
With the Shuttle dial
Using the Shuttle dial, you may play the pictures at a
high speed or in slow motion.
Set the unit to Playback mode (PLAY button indicator
lit) or Still-Picture mode (PAUSE button indicator
lit) and rotate the Shuttle dial.
Playback will be performed in the direction and speed
indicated by the direction and orientation of the Shuttle
dial.
