Alarm Recording
Notes
• When you specify pre-alarm recording, the recording
rate is fixed to 15 FPS (HSR-X216) or 12.5 FPS
(HSR-X209P/X216P) in normal recording and pre-
alarm recording.
• You cannot highlight PRE-ALARM RECORDING
on the display with ALARM RECORDING set to
OFF.
ALARM TRIGGER
Select the trigger.
ALARM: External alarm input
SENSOR: Internal alarm generated by the built-in
activity detection sensor
ALARM AND SENSOR: Simultaneous occurrence
of external and internal alarms
ALARM OR SENSOR: Occurrence of either an
external or internal alarm

Select the display mode for the main monitor during
alarm recording.
FULL: To display the picture from a camera in alarm
status full-screen
9: To display camera pictures in 9-division mode
16: To display camera pictures in 16-division mode
(HSR-X216/X216P only)
NC: To maintain the previous display even if an
alarm is triggered
ALARM PRIORITY
Select the display mode of the monitor for when
multiple alarms are detected.
LAST: To display the last alarm picture
FIRST: To display the first alarm picture
SWITCH: To display each alarm picture for 1
second in sequence

MON. 2 DISPLAY
Select the display mode of the submonitor connected
via the MONITOR 2 connector for when an alarm is
detected.
ON: To display an alarm picture
OFF: Not to display an alarm picture
RETRIGGER
Select the mode for when another alarm signal to the
camera which is already in alarm status is detected.
ON: To extend the alarm mode duration
OFF: Not to extend the alarm mode duration
ACTIVITY SENSOR
Perform settings which are necessary when the activity
detection sensor is used as the alarm trigger with this
item.
For details, see "Setting the Activity Detection Sensor" on
page 37(GB).
ALARM DURATION SET
Select the duration for each camera operation with this
item when you have set DURATION of the ALARM
REC MODE SET menu to INDIV.
For details, see "Specifying the duration for each camera
individually" on page 37(GB).
Setting the menu items

Select 2. RECORD SET from the main menu.

Select 6. ALARM REC MODE SET or
7. ALARM OPERATION SET from the submenu.
The ALARM REC MODE SET or ALARM
OPERATION SET display appears.

Turn the Jog dial to highlight the item to be set and
turn the Shuttle dial clockwise to finalize your
selection.
The current setting on the selected line flashes.

Turn the Jog dial to change to the desired setting
and turn the Shuttle dial clockwise to register the
new setting.
When you set REC RATE for ALARM
RECORDING, the number of alarm events that
can be recorded is automatically calculated
according to the PICTURE QUALITY setting and
