9 MONITOR 1/S-VIDEO connector
The illustration shows the HSR-X216/X216P. The HSR-X209P
has nine of the IN and OUT connectors, ALARM IN and SENSOR
OUT terminals only.
1 PC CARD slot
For PC cards of Type 2.
Insert a commercially available SCSI PC card to
enable data backup using a CD-R or DDS drive. If
you insert a commercially available LAN PC card,
network control will be enabled.
2 Camera connectors (BNC type)
IN: Connect video cameras.
OUT: The camera signals supplied to the
corresponding IN connectors are output as-is.
3 AUDIO connectors (phono jacks)
IN: Connect an audio signal.
OUT: Connect to the AUDIO IN connector of a
monitor.
4 MIC (microphone) connector (monaural
minijack)
Connect a microphone for audio recording.
5 SENSOR ALARM OUT terminals
When the sensor alarm of a channel activates, an alarm
signal is output from the corresponding terminal.

6 ALARM IN terminals
Connect alarm sensors to receive external alarm
signals.
For details, see "Connecting external alarm sensors" on
page 53(GB).
7 -AC IN connector
Connect AC power using the supplied AC power cord.
8 Power cord holder
Secure the AC power cord using the supplied tie, as
shown below.
9 MONITOR 1/S-VIDEO connector (Mini DIN 4-
pin)
To output a video signal to a main monitor. Connect
to the S video input of the monitor.
