To output a video signal to a main monitor. Connect
to the video input of the monitor.
qa MONITOR 2 connector (BNC type)
To output a video signal to a sub monitor. Connect to
the video input of the monitor.
qs RS-485 connectors (A/B)
Connect a RS-485 serial control bus with an RJ-11
cable. Use these connectors for connecting devices
controlled by the controller or the same bus.

Notes
• Do not connect a phone line to these connectors.
• Two RS-485 control ports can be connected to these
connectors.
qd RS-232C connector (D-sub 9-pin)
An external controller, such as a PC, can be connected.

For RS-485 termination. When connecting multiple
units in series via the RS485 terminals, set this switch
of the last unit to ON.

For input and output of various control signals. The C
terminals are for ground.

ALL terminal (5V DC/5.7 kΩ)
You may adjust the built-in clock of other connected
devices to the clock of this unit.
ALARM terminals
For signals that can be triggered for alarm recording
OUT: Sensor alarm signal output (5V DC/5.7 kΩ).
The output level drops to 0 V when the built-in
activity detection sensor operates or an external
alarm is detected.
RESET: Alarm reset input (normally-open contact)
NON REC terminal (5V DC/5.7 kΩ)
The output level drops to 0 V if recording is
interrupted.
WARNING terminal (5V DC/5.7 kΩ)
The output level drops to 0 V if any problem occurs
with the HDD or fan.
FULL terminal (5V DC/5.7 kΩ)
The output level drops to 0 V if the remaining capacity
of the normal recording area of the built-in hard disk
drops below the specified value (default: 1%).
ALARM FULL terminal (5V DC/5.7 kΩ)
The output level drops to 0 V if the remaining capacity
of the alarm recording area of the built-in hard disk
drops below the specified value (default: 1%).
