3.
Mounting Instructions
3.1 Mounting:
NOTE:
After having removed the transport blocks the winch may tilt to the
motor side. Therefore the winch has to be secured against tilting
before mounting.
Pay attention to crane suspension points!
The mounting structure must be designed to sustain the max. forces im-
posed by the winch (impact coefficient acc. to DIN15018 has to be con-
sidered)
The mounting structure must be dimensioned for double operating load.
Pay careful attention that the mounting surface is flat and true.
Only fix the winch by means of good quality screws.
Tighten the screws evenly.
Secure the screws.
Pay attention to unhindered rope coiling!

3.3 Mounting positions
The wire rope winches may be mounted in different positions.
Fix the ventilation screw, the oil drain screw and the oil level screw (oil sight glass) acc. to following
drawings. Pay attention to oil quantity! (see table)

Some winches are actuated by a flat gear with a preceding spur
wheel back-geared motor. The preceding spur gear wheel has to be
mounted as shown when changing the mounting position.

FD = 3-stage gear units
