10. Distance measurement

1. If the target laser (B) is not activated, push the button ON (C) to
activate the laser.
2. Point the laser at a right angle at the target and hold the device as
still as possible.
3. Push the button ON. Shortly, a beep sounds and the reading is
shown on the display.
4. After each measurement, the laser is deactivated and must be
reactivated before taking another measurement.

11. Adding readings

1. Measure the first value.
2. Press the + (K) button. The value you just measured is moved to the
first line on the display.
3. Activate the target laser (B) by pushing the button ON (C).
4. Measure the second value by pushing the button ON. The second
value is shown in the second line on the display. The sum of both
measurements is shown in the bottom line.
5. Follow the previously described steps to add further measurements.
