This machine has several protectors to prevent
compression or crushing hazards.

- There is a micro-switch protection under the
chuck arm to prevent compression.
- The rotation speed of the chuck has been
limited to a maximum of 8 rpm to reduce dragging or
entrapping hazards. There is an emergency button
on the portable control unit.

- All machine movements, except turntable
rotation and tool lifting, are automatically inhibited if
the tool is not in the operating position (fully low-
ered), or in the home position (fully lifted).
