Installation Instructions
iii Installation procedures.
To install the machine proceed as follows:
A.
Before raising the machine, ensure that the chuck is
completely closed, that the chuck arm is lowered and
the chuckholder arm and toolholder arm are in the
position specified in Fig. iii-1.
B.
Remove the screws that secure the machine to the
pallet.
C.
Lift the machine only with the two lifting lugs with a belt
or rope of appropriate length and strength (mm 3000
(10ft) and a capacity of kg 500 (1100 lbs) (Fig. iii-1).
D.
Hold the machine as depicted in (Fig.iii-1).
E.
Lift the machine as in Fig.iii-1.
Do not use metal ropes to lift the machine.
DO NOT SWING THE MACHINE WHEN LIFTED.
DO NOT CUT THE REMOTE UNIT CORD WHEN
LOWERING THE MACHINE TO THE GROUND.
Only for BA model
"Secure the control arm in the relative seat (Fig. iii-2)
using the nuts and bolts supplied.
Check the integrity of the electrical cable; it must not
appear crushed or damaged.
Note: Due to the considerable weight of the arm,
perform the operation with the utmost care,
using adeguate lifting equipment and
cables.
DO NOT USE METAL CABLES.
Note: Pay attention not to damage the hydraulic
tubes located close to the arm fixing
points.
DAMAGING THE HYDRAULIC TUBES WILL CAUSE
THE MACHINE TO MALFUNTION.
